but the learning curve is better than the first game. It's more of a long tutorial than anything else, but not a great tutorial. remember to save often though, nothing worse than having a 45 minute battle only to have our ACU caught off guard and explode right near the end. The only slightly interesting bits are right at the end when you start facing units that want to assimilate you, forcing you to think differently about how you move up the map and also just generally it's more fun when it gets harder. The singleplayer campaign has some reasonable length to it - However, it's pretty dull and uninspired on the whole. SUPCOM is a game that lets you zoom ALLL the way out, and you need to because there's a lot of robo-fighting to be done, and that requires a lot of robos. Yeah just focus on the fact that there's robots, and other slightly different robots, and they all hate each other. for a start it's so politically infused that unless you really know your Sup Com history you're not going to understand what's going on and even if you do know your Sup Com history lets face it you're probably not going to care. they don't talk like battle commaders should, more like bad sassy action film characters.Īnd aww and one of em has the black lung. all the characters are SO self righteous and sombre, to me it's so forced. HEX there's something about RTS games that breeds bad storylines.and this is one of the worst I've encountered. Yes, set 25 years after 'Supreme Commander: forged alliance', you will encounter some personal stories.but they're so. Sup Com 2 features some much welcomed UI tweaks, a few changes to the gameplay and a new campaign which apparently adds 'a personal, human aspect to a storyline' Supreme Commander was the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, and a very fine and complex RTS it was, with a focus on repeat production of units, pushing points, and a lot of deep tech tree manipulation I think I could get into that, but for the next 6 minutes I am only interested in giant robots. BAJO how would you like to review a real time strategy game?
